1. Qual é o "tense" que usa somente o verbo no passado? E qual é o outro que apresenta o passado do verbo to be (was/were) + um verbo nogerúndio?

2. No past continuous, como fazemos frases negativas ou interrogativas? Dê um exemplo de cada uma.
Yesterday I was not watching tv.
Were you watching tv yesterday?

Revisando:

1- No inglês, há diferença se falarmos algo no futuro com as formas will e going to? Dê um exemplo.
Sim, will é sobre algo incerto, não planejado, e going to é sobre alguma coisa que já foi planejada. Ex.:
We are going to travel to New York in February.
I will make the homework right now.

2- Em Português, quando queremos dizer que "tinha alguma coisa" usamos o verbo "ter". Por exemplo "tem (ou tinha) um homem no carro." Qual é a estrutura do inglês usada para isso? Dê um exempo.
There was e there were. Ex.:
There was a girl in the library.

3- Observe as frases: a) I went home by car. b) I was waiting for you at the school. Qual é a diferença entre elas?
A frase "A" está no past simple e a frase "B" está no past continuous.

4- Qual é a diferença entre o past simple e o past continuous?
O past simple é composto apenas pela ação e o past continuous é composto por verbo to be no passado + ação + ing.

Vídeo "La conquista española de América"

O vídeo fala detalhadamente sobre a colonização da América pelos espanhóis. Ele não fala muito sobre Cristóvão Colombo, apenas cita que foi ele quem "dirigiu" a expedição. O vídeo fala sobre todos os detalhes, como qual foi o primeiro lugar em que chegaram e colinizaram. Cita os barcos La Santa Susana, La Niña e La pinta, sobre os quais já falamos em aula.

Gostamos do vídeo, pois ele acrescenta informações ao que nós já sabíamos sobre a colonização da américa e sobre Cristóvão Colombo, mesmo que o livro fale mais sobre a vida dele.
